Hel is a goddess in Nordmannic mythology. She is the goddess of death, and is notable in part for having skin that is white on one side and black on the other.
She rules a hall called Eljudnir in Niflheim, where she serves food from a dish named "Hunger." She has two servants known for their slow and lazy demeanor.
The only known temple to Hel is in Kvivik. Local rulers tend to not encourage worship of her, though she has a presence in all communities in the northwest.
