The Notes of Naum in His Captivity is a collection of thoughts and philosophies written by Naum Gropa when he was imprisoned in Hanzekantoor, the Kreisens, from 1615 to 1617 IR. It is the most holy of texts in the Church of Naum.

In includes thought on religion, pedagogy, etymology, linguistics, and diplomacy, including how best to incorporate this in his magic.

The most important parts were incorporated and refined into the Pismenech, which is the Church of Naum's primary holy text.
