Pharan

Pharan is a holy place and pilgrimage destination in Eulekreisen. The head of the monastery here is Pelagius Simon.

Many owls nest there and it was a major temple to Athena when the area was controlled by the Old Empire. A monastery grew around the shrine over the years, and this monastery includes people from around Eard. The vast majority, however, are originally from the Empire of Makhaira, and by tradition, it is always one of these Makhairans who served as the archimandrite.
