The Hippodrome of Achrida is a hippodrome in Achrida, Dassaretum Province in the Empire of Makhaira. Races of all types are run here, primarily horse and chariot, as are other sporting events.
Oddly, given all the other corruption and cheating in the empire, its hippodromes are heavily policed thanks to Basil II Makrembolites and his successors. The Imperial Guard is tasked with ensuring this continues.
